Recommended Flower Care Tips are Below

Fresh Flowers require some care to extend their life. Our flowers are expected to last on average 5-7 days, some less + some more depending on the flower variety. Poppies, Dahlias, Sweet Peas & Garden Roses are a few that typically have a shorter vase life, while Ranunculus, Carnations & Orchids are a few that typically last longer.

We always include flowers that are expected to open more fully within a couple of days and greens/foliage that will dry beautifully to extend the life of every bouquet.

Bouquet Care

Cut the stems on an angle immediately before placing them in a clean vase of fresh water and remove all greens from the stems if needed.
We recommend using the flower food packet that is included with your order. You can use half for the first few days then refresh the water with the other half after 3 days.
If you choose not to use the flower food, we recommend changing the water with fresh water daily. This will help to extend the life of your flowers.
Roses, lilacs and other woody stems like to be cut up the stem.
If you receive narcissus (daffodil varieties) in your bouquet, do NOT recut the stem and place them back in a vase with other flower varieties. They release a sap that can affect the life of the other flower varieties. They have been conditioned to prevent this from happening.
If you receive hellebores in your bouquet, try NOT to recut the stem. They have been conditioned for a longer vase life. But if they do flop, cut the stem, place about 1 inch of the stem in boiling water for 10 seconds then back in a vase with fresh water.
If you notice a particular flower fading sooner than you’d like, try recutting the stem and placing it back in fresh water with flower food.
Avoid direct sun and heat.
Avoid freezing temperatures, this is especially important during our New England winters so we always recommend bringing the flowers immediately inside if it’s below 32 degrees, keeping them covered and never leaving them in a cold car.

Vase Arrangements

If you receive a vase arrangement, it will arrive with flower food already in the water. We recommend topping it off with water when it is delivered to you since some spillage can occur during transporting the flower arrangement.
Check the water level daily and top it off regularly. The flowers continue to drink once you receive them.

EVERLASTING & PRESERVED Care Tips:

Avoid direct sun and a room with high humidity. The colors may start to fade with time if placed in a sunny spot.
Do not get wet.

EVERLASTING & FRESH FLOWER Mixed Bouquets:

Cut the fresh flower stems on an angle immediately before placing them in a clean vase of fresh water and remove all greens from the stems if needed.
Avoid direct sun and heat.
Avoid freezing temperatures.
The everlasting materials should not get wet. We will create these bouquets so they have shorter stems to avoid this, so do not fill a vase up with water to those stems.
Once the fresh flowers fade, you can create a new bouquet with the everlasting materials out of water.
