“Art is the concrete representation of our most subtle feelings.” —Agnes Martin

I am an artist inspired by the seasonal, ethereal nature of flowers and the world around us. Trained as a painter, my early influences include Paul Klee, Gustav Klimt, and Egon Schiele. My years working in corporate design and the natural skin care industry helped me develop a nuanced appreciation for color and eye for detail. In my floral work, color, texture, and composition guides me in creating mood and a rooted sense of place.

Floral design was a natural extension of my creative work. When my son Forest was a baby, I accepted an internship at a local flower farm to learn to organically grow flowers while also honing my design skills. Tending and nurturing the beauties of the green world at the same time I was newly mothering redirected my attention to the cycles of organic life and changed me.

Just as the seasons present each year, I try to honor the seed, the root, and the ultimate demise of a flower. I love to elevate the overlooked—a foraged branch of berries, a flower with a natural ombré—by shaping them into compositions that murmur their place and time, a simple act of noticing and appreciating life.

My work is created with love and intention, and it’s a pure gift for me witnessing the joy my flowers bring to someone’s day.

Best Practices

We are focused on eliminating waste and caring for the earth.

All of our materials (bags, bouquet wrap, ribbons, boxes etc.) were consciously chosen to be recyclable or reusable. Our stem wrap materials are fully compostable as well.

Many of our flowers are sourced from local farms when seasonally-available and are the focal point of our designs.
